Playfirst's flagship titles have been around for over 10 years, and have been ported from PC, to web, and eventually to mobile. In doing so, I've updated some of the older pieces of artwork, and kept in the same classic style to not make jarring and obvious contrasts to the existing work.
What is here is generally a cleaner, and newer form of an existing piece, and concepts for new content.
One of the larger tasks involved was the cleaning and re-imagining of the classic title, "Diner Dash." This cleaned a confusing metamap and resulted in a more pleasing user experience. I helped create concepts and wireframes for new venues and a new player experience.
Screenshots for comparison are provided.

Diner Dash is known for themed restaurants and as such, each restaurant has a few themed decoration sets to coincide with it. They match the venues that they belong to (in theme, color, style) and all contain a serving counter, table set, VIP table (for bosses) and a carpet. There are small hints and details that are placed within these, so please take a look! While the assets are small on screen-there are some fun touches in the larger versions.
Plates, placemats, whipped cream, and condiment bottles are shown in a few of the sets and on VIP tables, are stock assets used through the game. I did not create those.

All concepts here are for the earliest alpha version of the game. These were later changed significantly, but informed the changes as a solid base. Many of the sketches inform some designs, and are fairly rough.

Character works for the new "Diner Dash" game. These characters are all created in vector and set up for animation. Below are some of the rough sketches that led to creation of each character seen here.

Illustration of a (very) heavyweight boxer. Inspired by 90's Tyson, but has a spirit of its own! Fun one to draw. Always a fan of any chance I have to draw massive muscles!
Puzzle pieces and character art for the upcoming puzzle game, "Colors TURBO!"
Puzzle Pieces are created in vector, and the characters are hand-drawn.
Concepts for Sports Based characters. The first image is the desired direction, whereas the second image is a scrapped concept. Just a bit too bulky. This gallery is a work in progress and updates will be happening daily!
Cover illustration for webcomic "Dead-End."
Street Fighter is my absolute favorite video game series. Rarely do I draw the characters, as I feel the original design team does such an impeccable job--so I decided to draw some characters that don't get lots of fan art. The series, starts with the Turkish oil wrestler, Hakan.
Selections of UI concepts for the Diner Dash clean up, as well as achievement icons for the canceled title, "Star Trek: Ghost Ship."
Additionally some concept UI for the beautiful platformer-runner "Corgi Run" is displayed. The game will be available stateside soon.
What started as a test ended up being a fun personal project. This gallery is being updated as I'll have some more comic-book-esque illustrations of athletes and athletic feats. It'd be pretty great to see images like these in magazine I think. Comics really express the dynamic motion in sports so well!
